Role Description

The Prescription Assistant is responsible for answering prescription follow-up emails, responding promptly to inquiries, addressing issues, and documenting communications. They verify prescription orders by ensuring accuracy, cross-checking with opticians, and confirming compliance with regulations. The role involves tracking the status of prescriptions, addressing delays, and ensuring timely fulfilment.

  • Ensuring prescription details are accurate, cross-checking with healthcare providers, and confirming compliance with regulations.
  • Tracking the status of prescriptions, addressing delays, and ensuring timely fulfilment.
  • Achieving individual and team KPIs, including order accuracy, response times, and follow-up completion.
  • Gaining knowledge of the company's various services to enhance expertise.
  • Participating in team meetings, exams, quizzes, and collaborative activities to foster teamwork and continuous learning.
  • Providing excellent customer service, collaborating with the healthcare team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Attention to Detail – Accurately verify and document prescription orders and communications.
  • Prompt Email Response – Ability to reply quickly and professionally to email follow-ups while maintaining clarity and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication to handle inquiries and collaborate with the team.
  • Time Management – Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain efficiency in response times and order accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving – Address and resolve issues related to prescriptions and delays.
  • Customer Service – Provide excellent support to customers and opticians.
  • Collaboration – Work effectively with the opticians, lab, and other team to meet KPIs and goals.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance – Adhere to privacy laws and maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Administrative Skills – Organize and manage prescription records and follow-ups.
  • Adaptability – Be flexible to take on additional tasks and adjust to changes.
  • Accuracy and Organization – Ensure precise tracking and documentation of prescription statuses.

Requirements
