Role Description
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (Phone Support) to interact with our customers and provide and process information in response to inquiries and requests about products, services, and promotions.
- Work with customers daily via phone.
- Handle retail customer service inquiries mainly for English-speaking markets, including:
- Style of glasses
- Sunglasses
- Prescription questions
- Order status
- Warranty issues
- Introduce customers to purchase higher priced items, upgrades, or other add-ons to make more profitable sales.
- Requires a patient and stable work style and consistency in dealing with repetitive routines.
- Demands a cooperative, agreeable, and sympathetic listener who enjoys helping others.
- Customer service, team-oriented focus is of utmost importance.
- Requires attention to detail, handling work with better-than-average accuracy and quality.
- Focus on working comfortably under close supervision within a stable, secure team.
- Outgoing, friendly, genial interaction with a wide range of people is key.
- Requires patience, stability, and consistency with much interaction over long periods.
- Strong need for team interaction and involvement with a relatively low requirement for independent initiative.
Qualifications
- Fluency in verbal and written English; additional language is an advantage
- Excellent time management and documentation skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Availability for 30 - 40 hours a week with flexible shifts (weekends and/or evenings)
- High-speed, stable internet connection
