Role Description
Exciting Customer Sales Support Role - Use Your Scientific Expertise!
Do you have a background in Life Sciences and want to take your career to the next level in a customer-focused role? LGC is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team, where you will support the sales and distribution of our ATCC portfolio across Italy and other EMEA regions as needed. This position offers a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to work 50% from our office in Milan and 50% from home.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service. This includes:
- Responding to tenders and addressing sales and technical inquiries via phone or email
- Providing support to our Core ATCC Team and Technical Sales Specialists
- Handling customer inquiries and Italian tenders
- Preparing accurate quotations and following up to increase conversion rates
- Working closely with the Technical Sales team to customize responses based on customer requirements
- Providing initial technical support to customers and escalating more complex issues when needed
- Implementing local strategies aligned with the EMEA sales and marketing plan
- Maintaining service levels and acting as a liaison between Order Entry and Technical Sales team
- Using ERP systems and Salesforce to support sales
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences or a related field to Cell Biology required
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a Life Sciences company
- Proficiency in Italian and English
- Strong organizational skills and prioritization capabilities aligned with commercial activities
- Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
