Role Description
We're looking for detail-oriented, empathetic problem solvers to join our remote Customer Operations (COps) team.
COps are the heart of AerialBuz. You'll be the first point of contact for any of our users who have questions, problems, feedback, and compliments!
We want to delight our customers in any way possible. Our mission is to make Drone Marketplace work for everyone, and while having a great app is part of that, we pride ourselves on providing world-class support.
- Providing the best customer support by talking directly and honestly with our customers.
- Communicating with our customers mainly on the telephone, but through various mediums based on customer needs.
- Proactively spotting patterns in customer frustrations or hopes.
- Identifying customers in vulnerable situations and supporting them.
- Working closely with our Financial Crime team to spot and investigate trends.
- Dealing with tricky payments-related queries.
- Understanding, prioritising, and escalating customer feedback and feature requests.
- Supporting other members in the customer support team and mentoring new joiners.
- Expanding knowledge in various areas of the COps team.
Qualifications
- Over 18 years old
- Care deeply about delighting our customers
- Great at explaining things to people, with flawless written English
- Very comfortable using a laptop (an Apple MacBook will be provided)
- Delight in investigating awkward problems and fixing them
- Familiar with social networks and interested in technology
- Friendly and super organised
- Haven't applied and been unsuccessful within the last 6 months
Requirements
- Work from home in the UK in a safe, private, and distraction-free environment
- Solid internet connection (download speed - 10mbps; upload speed - 3mbps)
Equipment
- Work laptop provided on the first day
- Own smartphone needed for logging into the customer support system
The Application Process
- Allow 1-2 hours to complete the application.
- High level of attention-to-detail in written communication.
- Specific examples for 'tell us about a time when...' questions.
- Analytical problem-solving skills for scenario-based questions.
- Remote assessment days for successful applicants.
- Training for the first three weeks (Monday-Friday) between 09:00-18:00.
