Role Description

The Waiting List Offer Response Assistant monitors replies to approved appointment offers and records the responses from individuals on a waiting list. This remote role supports customer service and scheduling without independently confirming bookings.

• Record the answer to an offered appointment.
• Link replies to the correct record based on the reference, person, and proposed time.
• Distinguish between clear acceptances, declines, questions, and proposed changes.
• Pass acceptances to the scheduler for final booking.
• Note when a person asks to remain on the waiting list.
• Flag responses that arrive after the offer’s stated process has moved on.
• Keep records open when questions still need answers.
• Acknowledge questions about transport, accessibility, or service conditions without promising answers.
• Use an online scheduling record and written messages.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, office administration, or reception is useful.
• Ability to read messages carefully and take factual notes.
• Organizing responses to events can provide transferable practice.

Requirements

• Willingness to ask colleagues before describing an appointment as booked.
• Ability to handle responses to specific approved offers.
• Home office area suitable for focused computer work.

Benefits
