Role Description

The Staff Access Request Tracker is responsible for managing online access requests within a remote office administration role. Key responsibilities include:

• Recording access requests and ensuring standard information is present.
• Maintaining visibility of request status throughout the approval process.
• Connecting approvals to existing tickets and routing them to authorized personnel.
• Confirming completion of requests before closing tracking items.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues using customer service skills.
• Handling internal information carefully, avoiding the inclusion of sensitive data in general spreadsheets.
• Logging manager approvals and administrator changes separately while keeping requests connected to the original ticket.
• Flagging new instructions if a staff member changes roles during the request process.
• Providing accurate status updates without unsupported completion times.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, office administration, or managing shared inboxes.
• Comfortable using online forms and closely reading requests.
• Ability to recognize the boundary between tracking and granting access.
• No technical certification is necessary; training will be provided.
