Role Description

The Refund Status Customer Service Adviser is responsible for providing status information from approved billing records and addressing customer inquiries regarding refunds.

• Assist customers with questions about refund issuance, payment methods, and processing status.
• Locate requests using customer details and relevant order or invoice references.
• Communicate the correct status of transactions: requested, approved, initiated, or completed.
• Route refund destination change requests to the authorized team and follow security processes.
• Acknowledge disputes or calculation questions and pass them to the relevant team.
• Record customer interactions and ensure clear communication of status updates.
• Maintain tidy records that reflect the actual sequence of transactions.
• Handle refund inquiries by matching transaction references and statuses.
• Work remotely through online billing records and written customer service.
• Ensure a private home office for handling account details.

Qualifications

• Previous finance work is an asset, but not a condition for applying.
• Comfortable with dates and references.
• No financial advice required.

Requirements

• Ability to explain how to respond to customer inquiries about refunds.
• Willingness to refer disputed amounts to the billing team.

Benefits

• Salary range: £55,000–£58,500 per year for full-time work; part-time pro rata.
