Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates with relevant experience in a similar role may also be considered
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in reception or inbound call handling
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear, professional telephone manner
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and ability to record accurate and complete messages
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple calls and competing priorities
• Proficiency in telephone systems, email platforms, and basic computer applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive client information responsibly
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
• Familiarity with legal practice management or case management software
• Understanding of Australian workers' compensation processes and legal terminology
• Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional or remote teams

• Calm and professional demeanor under pressure
