Role Description

GC Realty & Development is looking for a Resident Services Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. In this role, you'll own the full resident communication experience, managing inbound calls, emails, and chats while collaborating cross-departmentally to resolve issues and coordinate key processes like move-outs. What You'll Do

• Own the Resident Experience:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident communication across calls, live chat, texts, and email, responding promptly and professionally at every touchpoint.
• Manage Your Inbox and Tasks:
  • Keep things moving by staying on top of emails and follow-ups, ensuring every inquiry is handled within established response times.
• Collaborate Across Departments:
  • Work closely with other teams to resolve resident and client issues, always keeping the best interest of all parties in mind.
• Coordinate the Move-Out Process:
  • Oversee move-outs from start to finish, including confirmations, key returns, and all required documentation.
• Show Up and Grow:
  • Attend weekly department meetings and one-on-ones with your manager, and actively contribute ideas that make the team better.
• Flag and Solve Problems:
  • Spot issues before they escalate, raising concerns with your team and manager and collaborating on solutions.
• Be a Team Player:
  • Support teammates during busy periods and take on additional tasks as the team grows and evolves.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a customer-facing role.
• Genuinely enjoy talking to people and helping them solve problems.
• Confident communicator who can navigate difficult conversations with professionalism, empathy, and composure.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Sharp attention to detail and organized.
• Calm under pressure in fast-paced and high-volume environments.
• Reliable home setup with a quiet, distraction-free workspace and necessary equipment.
