Role Description

A shopper asks whether an online item comes in a particular size, which accessories are included, or where to find an approved specification. The Product Information Associate checks the current catalog, responds clearly, and routes specialized suitability questions. Customer service and office administration are central to this remote full-time job. You will not invent a product claim or guarantee stock without confirmation.

• A product page may show several variations and an old promotional image.
• Read the selected item code and current description before replying.
• If the question concerns a feature the catalog does not confirm, ask the product owner.
• A shopper's intended use can matter for a specialist recommendation; do not claim the item is suitable from a photo alone.
• A repeated question can reveal missing online information.
• Record the item and exact unclear detail for the content team, while helping the individual shopper with the approved answer.
• A case note should distinguish the customer response from a proposed catalog improvement.
• Keep any order-specific information in a private channel.

Work includes:

• Reading routine online item inquiries.
• Matching a question to the correct product variation.
• Checking current specifications and approved guides.
• Explaining confirmed features in plain language.
• Routing stock and suitability questions.

• Keeping customer and item references accurate.

You may bring customer service or office administration experience, but it is not a condition of hiring. The company will train beginners on its catalog and escalation. Good reading and a willingness to say when a detail is unconfirmed are important.

Compensation: $28 per hour, full-time remote.

A home office or equivalent quiet setting supports online product work. The employer will confirm hours.

A shopper may ask a question about a bundle while viewing the page for a single item. Check the exact item code and what is included before replying. If accessories are sold separately, use the current approved list. Do not infer from a photograph that every visible part is included.

When a product owner confirms a detail missing from the listing, note it for the catalog team.

• Some questions concern how an item will perform in a particular situation.

If the person asks for a recommendation for a specialized use, send the question to the product team.

A listing can also be outdated after a product update. Keep the customer informed using verified information and flag the page for the catalog owner.

An accurate item reference in your note lets the team correct the right variation. The company will train you on categories, online search, and the difference between a factual comparison and a claim about suitability.
