[Hiring] Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator Infusion @Moffitt Cancer Center

Role Description

As a Patient Access Scheduling Specialty Coordinator (PASCI) at Moffitt Cancer Center, you must exemplify adherence to all performance metrics and training requirements. The PASCI demonstrates a working knowledge of a multitude of scheduling and registration for Outpatient Services, including but not limited to:

• Surgery
• Blood and Bone Marrow
• Integrated Clinical Services
• Diagnostics
• Labs
• Behavioral Health
• Virtual Health
• Research
• Infusion of the Medical Center

Must be comfortable with medical terminology, problem solving, and thrive in an environment with many competing priorities and demands. Members of the team work collaboratively to cross cover all functions of Patient Access to develop a high level of understanding of the position to reward high productivity, quality, and skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED
• Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
• Licensure Certification Needed: No

Requirements

• Ability to meet, communicate, and interact with individuals from varying backgrounds and other health care team members in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Ability to set up, organize, and maintain record systems.
• Customer Service, multi-tasking, computer and typing skills, use of various types of office automation equipment and software, and interpersonal communication skills both verbally and written.
• Strong attention to detail while being able to multi-task and maintain patience and composure in stressful situations.
• Possess strong critical thinking abilities such as problem solving, root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions.
• (Internal) Must successfully complete 2-day infusion training and meet all necessary production and quality requirements.
