[Hiring] Patient Access Associate @Piedmont Healthcare

Role Description

Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare. Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Required
• 1 year experience in one of the following - Required:
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle
  • Clinical role
  • Related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle/Call Center experience - Preferred
• Prior Epic experience - Preferred
• None - Required
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association - Preferred
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative - Preferred
