Role Description

When an order is sent as a gift, a short message or recipient detail may need checking before the order moves to fulfilment. This role supports that routine review:

• Compare the submitted message with the online order.
• Flag a missing or unclear field and make permitted corrections under the company’s instructions.
• Do not rewrite a customer’s personal message or decide what wording is appropriate beyond the published rules.
• Establish whether the order is still at a stage where a change is permitted.
• Route requests to the authorised team if needed.

Details you would check:

• Match the gift-message entry to the correct order reference.
• Distinguish the purchaser’s contact record from the delivery recipient.
• Check whether a submitted message is visible and complete.
• Note a stated character or format limit from approved guidance.
• Flag an unreadable file or ambiguous recipient name.
• Record a requested change without assuming it has been accepted.
• Send an approved clarification request when a field is missing.
• Recheck the saved message before marking the administrative task complete.

The role is remote and uses online order records, email, and a shared queue. A home office with dependable access helps you compare names and text carefully. The employer will train you on its fulfilment stages, message limits, and privacy rules.

• Ability to read closely and ask precise questions.
• Previous order experience is helpful but not essential.

Requirements

• Check which item each recipient message accompanies.
• Read the latest approved wording rather than an earlier draft.
• Confirm that a pending change has not been called accepted.
• Keep buyer and recipient contact details in separate fields.
• Flag a message that exceeds the published limit.
• Leave the order owner a clear note about any open question.
