[Hiring] Japanese Customer Service Agent @RMG Talent

Role Description

This is a remote position. RMG Talent is recruiting Japanese-speaking Customer Service Agents for a customer-experience operation supporting clients across travel, hospitality and related service channels. Work from home anywhere in Malaysia.

• Location: Malaysia — work from home (anywhere in Malaysia)
• Employment: Full-time, permanent

• Start: first week of December 2026 (offers targeted by 20 November 2026)
• Salary: RM9,150 per month (includes RM1,650 monthly allowance)

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer contacts (voice and/or digital channels as assigned) in Japanese and English.
• Resolve booking, travel, hospitality or service queries accurately and empathetically.
• Follow documented processes, quality standards and CRM workflows.
• Work rotational shifts, including weekends.
• Escalate complex cases appropriately and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Excellent Japanese and excellent English.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing experience.
• Comfortable with rotational shifts, including weekends.
• Able to work from home anywhere in Malaysia, or overseas with confirmed visa eligibility for Malaysia.
• Preferred: background in travel, hospitality, airline, booking-platform or BPO / contact-centre environments.
• Visa eligibility (overseas applicants): degree plus at least 3 years' relevant experience, or diploma plus at least 5 years' relevant experience. Visa processing takes at least 2 weeks; start timing must allow for this.
