Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a desk adjuster in the homeowner/property industry.
• Proven track record of handling claims and homeowner property losses.
• Previous field adjusting and/or construction experience is extremely valuable.
• Solid technical background with excellent understanding in loss estimating, homeowner policy coverage, and construction.
• Comfortable working in a metrics-driven claims environment.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Ability to understand various policies and evaluate and apply appropriate coverage.
• Comfortable with contractors and vendors to resolve claims efficiently.
• Experience conducting recorded statements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and deescalate difficult situations.
• Proficient in handling complex claims with loss values up to $100K.
