Role Description

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day customer support needs of the business. You will work closely with a small, collaborative team to address customer inquiries, resolve order-related concerns, and assist with subscription management while maintaining a positive and trustworthy customer relationship. This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the business continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries through email and social media with accuracy, empathy, and professionalism.
• Manage customer tickets and workflows using Gorgias.
• Handle order-related requests through Shopify, including reshipping orders, processing refunds, and updating order statuses.
• Assist customers with subscription-related requests and account management.
• Identify recurring customer concerns and recommend improvements to support processes and the overall customer experience.
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer support activities are aligned with company standards and business objectives.
• Maintain reliable coverage and help ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction during periods of growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in customer service/support, ideally in e-commerce.
• Strong technical proficiency with Shopify.
• Experience with Gorgias or similar customer support tools.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Reliable, consistent, and trustworthy, able to take ownership with minimal supervision.
• Good written English (perfect grammar is less important; clarity and professionalism are key).

Requirements

• Familiarity with Skio or other subscription management platforms.
• Prior experience with startups or high-growth businesses.
• Background in operations or light order management.
