[Hiring] Customer Software Support Engineer @Amdocs

Role Description

Responsible for providing best-in-class technical support to a global customer base.

• Maintains ownership of the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, identifying bugs, tool and script development for problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and reproduction.
• You will develop software adaptors and drivers in accordance with customer requirements and Telecom designs, ensuring compatibility, functionality and performance.
• You will install, configure and support customer solutions, ensuring successful implementation and continued operation in line with technical specifications.
• You will support the testing and deployment of software upgrade releases, identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth implementation.
• You will provide technical support and guidance to customers remotely and onsite, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• You will provide technical support for presales and demonstration activities, contributing technical expertise to customer presentations, solution evaluations and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Coding capabilities of one language (C, C++, Java or equivalent)
• Excellent social skills as working in a team and with customers
• Experience with Unix and SQL
• Proactive, creative and fits into a dynamic environment
• Ability to work under pressure with several, ongoing projects
• Fluent in Italian
• Adequate level of English, including reading, writing and speaking
• Based in Italy

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of experience
• Background in OSS, Telecom
• Big data knowledge
• Experience in Delivery group and/or Telecom knowledge

Benefits

• This is a Graduate / Entry-Level position (Level 4) under the applicable CBA (CCNL Commercio e Terziario), with an Annual salary range of €24,973- €30,000
• The final salary will be determined based on objective criteria, including the selected candidate’s skills, effort, responsibilities and working conditions, while allowing the company flexibility within the applicable salary range.
