[Hiring] Customer Growth & Activation Specialist @eBay

Role Description

The automotive B2B ecommerce market is evolving. Parts buyers increasingly expect the same easy, multi-vendor buying experience they get in almost every other industry, and Nexpart is built to deliver it. To capture this demand, WHI is building a new Customer Growth & Activation team that brings new parts buyers onto Nexpart, gets them actively ordering, and deepens engagement with the customers we already serve. We are now seeking Customer Growth & Activation Specialist to join our team of Specialists.

The ideal candidate has experience in inside sales, SDR/BDR, customer onboarding or customer success, and enjoys a high volume of customer conversations. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and able to learn software quickly and explain it simply to repair shops, dealerships and distributors. This person will report to the Supervisor, Customer Growth & Activation.

What you will do:

• Run outbound prospecting to target repair shops, dealerships and distributors through calls, emails and sequences
• Qualify interest, explain how Nexpart fits each customer's parts-buying workflow, and get them signed up
• Lead onboarding and activation outreach: set up new accounts, connect customers with their suppliers, and guide them to their first orders
• Engage existing customers to re-engage low-activity accounts and introduce features they aren't using
• Execute assigned outreach, onboarding and re-engagement campaigns to plan and on schedule
• Educate customers on Nexpart's core features by phone, video and email
• Capture all customer and outreach data in Salesforce, including activity, contact details, activation status and next steps
• Deliver against activity, activation and engagement targets
• Serve as a 'voice of the customer', sharing feedback and activation blockers with the team, Support and Product
• Represent WHI at a handful of trade shows and industry events each year

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in inside sales, SDR/BDR, customer onboarding, customer success or a similar customer-facing role
• Comfort making a high volume of outbound calls and emails, and handling objections
• Strong ability to learn technical concepts and communicate them clearly to customers
• Organized and detail-oriented, with disciplined CRM habits; Salesforce experience preferred
• Experience with automotive parts, repair shops, dealerships, or B2B software preferred
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Comfort in handling uncertainty
