Role Description

We are seeking experienced Credentialing Specialists to support provider outreach, credentialing documentation, and provider data maintenance activities. This role is responsible for contacting providers, collecting and validating required information, and ensuring credentialing records and related documentation are accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent provider interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact providers to obtain, verify, and update credentialing and provider-related documentation
• Collect, review, and maintain provider records for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure credentialing information is entered and updated correctly in internal systems
• Follow up with providers regarding missing, incomplete, or outdated information
• Communicate professionally with providers and internal teams to resolve documentation issues
• Maintain accurate records and support provider data integrity
• Assist with credentialing-related workflows and provider file maintenance
• Ensure all documentation is processed in accordance with internal standards and turnaround expectations
• Support a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and accuracy

Qualifications

• Previous experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, provider data, healthcare administration, or a related healthcare operations role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable with frequent provider outreach and follow-up
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in healthcare, insurance, managed care, or provider operations
• Prior experience with provider outreach and documentation review
• Familiarity with credentialing workflows and provider record maintenance

Work Environment

• Fully remote position
• System access provided through Citrix and virtual desktop
• Calls handled through Microsoft Teams Calling
• Equipment is not provided
