Role Description

The Corporate Housing Specialist provides corporate housing assistance to relocating employees and external prospects, using a network of housing providers and inventory units. This role manages the customer experience, including maintenance requests, extensions, and explanations of the corporate housing process and expectations.

• Establish direct communication with the relocation counselor for exceptions to the relocation policy.
• Keep the counselor informed on the stages of the transferee’s progress on securing housing.

• High school degree required

Requirements

• Provide ongoing customer service on existing reservations, including resolving maintenance issues.
• Obtain proper approvals from the client for direct bill or billing info from the transferee.
• Responsible for scheduling the move-out consultation and supporting with pre-departure questions.
• Establish contact with the transferee and determine or re-confirm temporary housing needs.
• Provide policy counseling if required by the client and set expectations with the transferee on the corporate housing process.
• Convey needs/desires to Regional Tenancy Manager to ensure housing options meet employee criteria.
• Maintain close communication during the housing selection process to respond to questions/concerns in a timely manner.
• Work with expense management/billing to ensure billing accuracy and thorough file audits post-arrival and post-departure.
• Support with monthly utility audit function.
• Other duties as assigned, including cross-training Housing Coordinators and managing client projects in SharePoint.
• Act as primary client contact and manage the collection of client-paid rent/fees.
• Run various reports upon request and support with special audits at Account Manager’s discretion.
• Keep the account manager abreast of all issues/problems.
