Role Description

CitizenGO is seeking a Contact Center Officer for Hungary to manage correspondence with our Hungarian-speaking supporters. In this remote, part-time role of 20 hours per week, you will:

• Answer questions, assist with donation and subscription requests, and help members stay connected to our mission.
• Report to the Contact Center Manager and work closely with our Operations and Campaigns teams.
• Manage Hungarian-language member correspondence in a friendly, transparent, and efficient manner.
• Track and resolve subscription, donation, and campaign queries each week.
• Connect supporters with the wider CitizenGO team by sharing recurring concerns and reporting technical issues.
• Translate and adapt materials into Hungarian, update Help Center pages, and improve templates and resources.
• Use AI to refine draft responses and improve chatbot answers.
• Cover other language inboxes as needed, using AI-assisted translation tools.

Qualifications

• Based in Hungary and available to work part-time, 20 hours per week.
• Fluent in Magyar with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• B2-level proficiency in English; Duolingo English Test required for non-native speakers with a minimum score of 100.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software tools quickly.
• Comfortable using Artificial Intelligence in daily work.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in translation and document review.
• Service-oriented with the ability to communicate with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

• Monitor and respond to all Hungarian-language member correspondence.
• Answer member emails in less than 8 hours.
• Manage requests to change or close donations and unsubscribe from communications.
• Identify campaign opportunities raised by members and share them with the campaigns team.
• Contribute to the correspondence report with an overview of each week’s Hungarian-language correspondence.
• Use and refine AI-assisted draft responses.
• Collaborate in the training and improvement of chatbots.
• Report technical issues, campaign feedback, and communication trends.
• Translate and adapt campaign materials and website content into Hungarian.
• Update and localize Help Center pages.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and propose actionable solutions.
• Regularly review and refine communication processes and templates.
• Participate in testing and introducing new tools and workflows.
• Build and improve workflows with AI and manage AI agents effectively.
• Work closely with Operations and Campaigns teams to align communications with campaign goals.
• Cover other language inboxes when needed.
