[Hiring] Claims Representative III, Auto @Co-operators

Role Description

As an Auto Claims Representative III, you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of complex Auto Claims. You will contribute to our client service culture through daily interactions and by implementing innovative, client-centric solutions.

• Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and settling very large and complex auto claims.
• Interpreting and applying complex regulations from various legislative requirements.
• Handling very complex files in litigation using litigation management guidelines.
• Working with clients and defense counsel on ensuring effective, timely and quality settlement of claims.
• Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
• Providing exceptional client and claimant service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.

Qualifications

• You have five years of claims or related business experience.
• You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
• You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation to be considered an asset.
• You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
• You have knowledge of auto policy wordings, legislation, regulations, and legal system.
