Role Description

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Bilingual Medical Administrative Assistant to support a U.S.-based healthcare practice. This role is centered around managing inbound calls, coordinating patient scheduling, and supporting intake and administrative workflows.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling patient communication while maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day front office operations.

• Handle inbound patient calls, providing timely and professional support
• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
• Conduct patient intake, including onboarding, data entry, and record updates
• Support medication refill requests following established workflows
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
• Assist with general administrative tasks and ensure smooth front desk operations
• Communicate clearly with patients and internal staff to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a U.S. healthcare administrative role (front desk, patient coordinator, intake, or similar) is required
• Experience with medication refills and insurance eligibility verification
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes

Requirements

• This is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week)
• Pay rate of $7 – $8 per hour depending on skillset and experience
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, aligned with U.S. business hours
