Role Description

As a member of our Health & Welfare Benefits team, you'll make a difference in people's lives every day. You'll serve as a trusted resource for participants by answering questions and providing guidance on a variety of employee benefit programs, including:

• Medical
• Dental
• Vision
• Prescription
• Life insurance
• Disability
• Other employer-sponsored benefits

In this role, you'll handle a steady volume of inbound calls while:

• Actively listening and identifying participant needs
• Providing clear, accurate information
• Navigating multiple systems to research benefits
• Reviewing eligibility and explaining coverage options
• Helping participants understand their available resources

Your communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others will play an important role in the success of both our clients and their employees.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing inbound calls
• Explaining benefit programs, eligibility requirements, enrollment options, and coverage details
• Researching and resolving participant inquiries
• Accurately documenting interactions and maintaining detailed records
• Collaborating with team members and internal partners
• Supporting participants with a compassionate, professional approach

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years or older
• Have a High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Must have strong organization skills
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must have strong customer service mindset with clear, professional communication
• Must pass an internet speed test (download equal to or greater than 25, upload equal to or greater than 5, Ping ms equal to or less than 175)
• Must have the ability to connect with an ethernet cable to a modem/router

Requirements

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The estimated salary range for this role is $32,760 - $40,950.
