[Hiring] Senior Product Compliance Analyst @HealthEquity

Role Description

The Senior Product Compliance Analyst leads advanced compliance activities to assure HealthEquity's administrative solutions align with applicable laws, regulatory standards, and internal policies. This role serves as a senior point of escalation and applies expert regulatory judgment to:

• Risk assessments
• Compliance monitoring
• Investigations
• Corrective action development

Work is performed in an environment where AI-enabled tools are standard, accelerating synthesis, documentation, and analysis. Success in this role is defined by the ability to anticipate risk, guide others, and deliver defensible compliance outcomes at scale.

This role typically reports to the Director of Compliance.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Product Compliance program and productivity elements.
• Apply expert regulatory judgment to complex compliance inquiries and escalations.
• Lead appeals, interpret regulatory guidance, and prepare filings and reports as needed.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, testing, reviews, and investigations.
• Provide support across key Product Compliance operational domains.
• Conduct nondiscrimination testing and training, and advise clients on related questions and inquiries.
• Support the use of AI-enabled tools and automation within Product Compliance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to incorporate compliance requirements into strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and review compliance reports, briefings, and narratives for leadership.
• Maintain compliance logs, records, and documentation standards.
• Evaluate compliance operations and recommend improvement areas.
• Contribute to the development of the annual Compliance Roadmap and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; Master’s degree or JD preferred.
• 7+ years of equivalent work experience in a risk management, insurance, governance, compliance, audit, finance, or project management role.
• Previous experience in compliance in the healthcare or financial services industries.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CRCM, CCEP, HSAS, CFC) are a plus.
• Previous experience coordinating or managing cross-functional projects.
• Deep expertise in employee benefits compliance and related regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to treat AI-enabled tools as standard compliance infrastructure.
• Strong risk judgment and business acumen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capability.
• Strong customer-service orientation paired with professional skepticism.

Onboarding & Travel

This is a remote role, with an in-person onboarding training component. New team members must participate in Trailhead, HealthEquity’s immersive onboarding experience. Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role.

Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations.

This role may begin with a virtual, self-paced onboarding experience, followed by a mandatory onsite Trailhead session at a later date.
