Role Description

Speridian is seeking a HIPAA Compliance Expert and a seasoned Project Management Consultant with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. This role is remote but requires West Coast business hours.

• HIPAA Compliance: Develop and administer HIPAA-compliant programs, staying abreast of regulatory changes, and implementing best practices.
• Project Management: Proficient in managing large-scale, complex projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder Management: Skilled in liaising with healthcare stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Policy Development: Experience in crafting and reviewing healthcare policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Training & Development: Proficient in developing and delivering training on HIPAA-covered information and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of work experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included performing a compliance review or audit of HIPAA laws, rules, or policies.
• Minimum of 24 months of work experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included providing training or developing workplace policies/procedures on the dissemination or protection of HIPAA-covered information.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included managing or communicating with healthcare stakeholders.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience, in the last five years, working on a job or an engagement that included analyzing and documenting the laws, rules, or policies regarding protected health information.

Requirements

• Legislative experience is a plus.
