[Hiring] Strategic Communications, Advocacy and Partnerships Specialist @UNDP

Role Description

The Strategic Communications, Advocacy and Partnerships Specialist will lead strategic communications, advocacy, and partnership engagement across the Alliance's priority programmes in Africa, focusing primarily on East and West Africa, while providing support to initiatives in Arabic-speaking countries, particularly Jordan and Sudan.

Qualifications

• An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Public Policy, Development Studies, Political Science or another relevant field.
• A first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree) in the above fields, combined with an additional two years of qualifying experience, will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years (with a Master's degree) or 7 years (with a Bachelor's degree) of progressively responsible experience in strategic communications, advocacy, partnerships or stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic communications and advocacy initiatives in the field of international development.
• Experience building and managing partnerships with governments, development partners, donors and international organizations.
• Experience in supporting high-level stakeholder engagement, policy dialogue and institutional positioning.
