[Hiring] Public Relations Manager @WEKA

Role Description

WEKA is seeking a Public Relations Manager to run and accelerate the media engine behind one of the most consequential stories in enterprise tech. This is a fully external-facing role, focused entirely on public relations and earned media. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications, you'll:

• Pitch and place stories.
• Execute launches.
• Direct agency operations day to day.
• Keep WEKA in the conversations that matter.

The mission is bigger than just announcement and launch coverage. It's trend authority and thought leadership. You’ll:

• Ensure WEKA experts are quoted in defining stories.
• Forge trusted-source relationships in the industry.
• Sharpen points of view on data infrastructure and AI.
• Build trust and authority story by story.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PR or corporate communications, in-house or agency (8+ for Senior Manager consideration) with B2B tech experience, preferably in enterprise software or data infrastructure.
• Proven ability to forge trusted media and influencer relationships.
• Demonstrated experience running end-to-end launches and embargoed news announcements.
• AI fluency and experience using AI tools and workflows.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with editorial judgment.
• Experience with newswire and PR analytics platforms.

Requirements

• Proven ability to develop earned pitches that land and secure top-tier story placements.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and spokespeople.
• Good to have: AI and/or data infrastructure industry experience.
• A mix of agency and in-house experience.
• Cision One and PR Newswire experience.
• Experience with global growth-stage companies in competitive technology categories.
