[Hiring] Communications Manager @HireLATAM

Role Description

Our Client is seeking a strategic, hands-on Communications Manager to build their communications function from 0 to 1 and define their brand voice across every internal and external touchpoint. Managing a Copywriter and reporting to the Head of Marketing, this high-ownership storyteller will own executive thought leadership (including CEO LinkedIn presence), media relations, organic SEO content, and sales enablement collateral. Operating full-time during U.S. Eastern business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST) remotely out of Mexico City with weekly team syncs, this practitioner will balance high-level narrative strategy with daily execution to drive brand authority and revenue alignment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in corporate communications, content marketing, brand strategy, or editorial roles, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven experience establishing communication frameworks, brand messaging, and editorial engines from scratch.
• Demonstrated history crafting high-performing executive content, speeches, and social presence (specifically LinkedIn).
• Hands-on experience directing website copy, blog strategies, and utilizing SEO research platforms (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console).
• Daily fluency leveraging generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to optimize research, drafting, and content production workflows.
• Track record of producing revenue-driving assets (battlecards, pitch decks, case studies, launch FAQs).
• Based in/near Mexico City for weekly in-person collaboration, with full availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.
• Dedicated home workspace, modern computing hardware, and a high-speed, reliable internet connection.

Requirements

• Prior experience in PropTech, real estate technology, SaaS, or high-growth B2B fintech environments.
• Hands-on experience managing copywriters, agency partners, or creative freelancers.
• Mastery of project management tools like Notion, Asana, or linear editorial boards.
