Role Description

UW Medicine's Outreach Program has an outstanding opportunity for a RURAL DIGITAL HEALTH OUTREACH COORDINATOR.

WORK SCHEDULE: 100% FTE, 100% Remote - Your home is your base of operations. Most of your working time is spent outside the home office with regular travel within the territory, requiring frequent travel between UW Medicine entities and partner sites across Washington.

• The Rural Digital Health Outreach Coordinator supports UW Medicine’s Business Development Office in executing UW Medicine's mission to improve the health of the public by delivering digital health solutions for medical education and specialty care to rural and underserved communities in the Pacific Northwest and the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho).

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

• UW Medicine’s Strategy Division Business Development Office (BDO) was established to identify, evaluate, and execute on strategic growth opportunities including new markets, partnerships, and external virtual care product offerings that align with UW Medicine’s mission and strategic objectives.
• The Outreach team sits within the BDO and aligns system-wide outreach efforts, coordinating external engagements and strengthening relationships with outside systems.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with Project ECHO and eConsult leadership and the UW Medicine Strategy and Business Development Office to develop and implement outreach strategies that increase clinician and site participation in these programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with rural healthcare organizations, community partners, and key UW Medicine contacts.
• Conduct proactive outreach to providers and organizations not currently utilizing ECHO or eConsult.
• Assist in recruiting new rural clinical sites to support program growth and funding requirements.
• Provide regular updates to prioritized partners regarding program developments, opportunities, and resources.
• Assist in developing and maintaining educational and promotional materials related to ECHO and eConsult programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4–5 years of experience in program outreach, sales, and/or marketing (preferably in a healthcare setting).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within UW Medicine and external healthcare organizations.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate clinical and operational discussions and adapt communication style to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• Experience making independent decisions on matters of significance within the scope of responsibilities.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.

Compensation

• Pay Range Minimum: $90,000.00 annual
• Pay Range Maximum: $130,008.00 annual
