[Hiring] Regional Head of Business Development @Cardo Group

Role Description

To lead business development and growth activity for Cardo across the Wales and West region, with responsibility for new business generation, Forward Order Book credibility, sales forecasting, pipeline maturity and strategic opportunity conversion across Responsive Repairs, Planned Works, Compliance and Energy/Retrofit.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for originating, developing and converting opportunities, while building and maintaining a credible regional growth plan aligned to divisional budgets, Group growth objectives and operational capability.

The role retains responsibility for core business development execution, including:

• Client development
• Opportunity qualification
• Procurement route shaping
• Bid conversion

While leading the regional approach to:

• Pipeline strategy
• Forecast credibility
• Identification of future workload gaps

The Regional Head of Business Development will work closely with the Regional Managing Director and operational teams to ensure sufficient work winning activity, commercially viable procurement routes, accurate forecasting and credible strategies to address regional growth requirements.

The role is accountable for the performance of regional business development and work winning, including:

• Forward Order Book credibility
• Forecast accuracy
• Opportunity quality
• Pipeline coverage
• Ensuring bid investment is aligned with operational capability and agreed regional priorities

Qualifications

• Senior business development leadership in social housing / public sector / property services
• Proven track record of delivering new business and secured revenue
• Sales forecasting and pipeline governance experience
• Framework and procurement expertise
• Strong commercial acumen
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strategic planning capability
