Role Description

You open new markets for Youmawo – from first contact to active partner optician.

• Analyse markets:
  • Find out how the optical market works in each country.
  • Identify the most promising target customers.
  • Determine where our concept fits best.
• Win partners:
  • Visit opticians on site.
  • Present our scanning technology and collection.
  • Convince them to launch with us.
• Make partners successful:
  • Support new opticians through onboarding.
  • Train their teams.
  • Ensure the first frames are sold.
• Trade fairs and events:
  • Represent Youmawo at industry fairs such as SILMO, MIDO or opti.
  • Build connections there.
• Try new approaches:
  • Test sales ideas.
  • Measure what works.
  • Bring insights back to the team – whether partnerships, pop-ups or digital channels.
• Deliver feedback:
  • Be our ear in the market.
  • Inform product and marketing about what opticians and customers really need.

Qualifications

• Think outside the box and find your own solutions when there is no plan yet.
• Love to travel and quickly feel at home in new countries and cities.
• Embrace challenges, keep going after a no, and enjoy building something new.
• Approach people openly and know how to inspire – in person, on the phone and by email.
• Work independently and in a structured way, even when on the road a lot.
• Speak fluent English.

Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively.
• First experience in sales or business development – internships, studies or side jobs count too.
