Role Description

We’re looking for a commercially minded Direct Procurement Manager who thrives at the intersection of supplier relationships, e-commerce growth, and international sourcing. This is not a traditional purchasing role. We’re looking for someone who owns vendor partnerships, negotiates commercial terms, and grows product categories across global markets.

If you enjoy identifying emerging brands, negotiating supplier agreements, and scaling international product portfolios in fast-moving retail environments — this role is for you. You’ll play a key role in expanding our international imported-products business, working directly with suppliers, retailers, and e-commerce platforms across North America and Europe.

What You’ll Do

• Build and Grow Global Vendor Partnerships
  • Identify and onboard new international suppliers and brands
  • Develop strategic partnerships with retailers, manufacturers, and e-commerce vendors
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure strong commercial performance
• Own Category Performance
  • Drive growth across key commercial metrics including:
    • Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)
    • Profit and net profit
    • Category market share
  • Monitor performance data and implement strategies to improve revenue and margin
• Negotiate Commercial Agreements
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers on:
    • Pricing and margin
    • Marketing support and promotional funding
    • Supply agreements and commercial terms
  • Secure supplier marketing contributions to support promotions and product visibility
• Expand the Global Supplier Network
  • Source and onboard new international suppliers
  • Build scalable vendor onboarding processes
  • Monitor supplier performance and optimize the vendor portfolio
• Work Cross-Functionally
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including:
    • Operations
    • Logistics
    • Marketing
    • Compliance
  • Together you’ll ensure supplier launches, promotions, and product availability run smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in vendor management, procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or import/export environments
• Proven ability to build and manage supplier partnerships

Requirements

• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts
• Ability to manage GMV, revenue, or category performance
• Comfortable working with performance metrics and making data-driven decisions

Benefits

• $71,000 – $142,000 annually
• Full-time W2 position
