Role Description

Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions, we are hiring a Business Development Representative (Student Recruitment) to support prospective students exploring programs at Yorkville University and Toronto Film School. As our new Business Development Representative (Student Recruitment), you will be one of the first points of connection for prospective students, reaching out to understand their educational and career goals, explore their motivation for returning to school, and determine whether their program of interest aligns with what they want to achieve.

• Conduct high-volume outbound outreach to prospective students.
• Create a positive first impression and build rapport quickly.
• Engage prospective students in meaningful conversations about their education and career goals.
• Ask thoughtful questions and actively listen to understand each prospective student's motivations.
• Pre-qualify prospective students and connect engaged individuals with an Admissions Advisor.
• Manage a high-volume calling schedule and accurately track activity.
• Work closely with Admissions Advisors and fellow Associate Admissions Advisors to support team goals.

• Confident and engaging communicator.
• Experience in a service, sales, retail, call centre, or similarly people-focused environment.
• Motivated by goals and comfortable working toward measurable targets.
• Ability to structure your day and manage follow-ups in a remote environment.
• Open to feedback, coaching, and new approaches.
