[Hiring] Business Development Principal @Tharsus

Role Description

We're looking for someone who thrives in complex, high-value environments where building meaningful partnerships matters more than chasing volume. You'll identify organisations that need a long-term product development and manufacturing partner, uncover opportunities where Tharsus can create genuine value, and convert those opportunities into lasting customer relationships.

Working alongside our senior leadership, marketing, commercial and delivery teams, you'll have the autonomy to shape how we engage the market, identify priority customers and lead conversations that result in transformational partnerships.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across a range of sectors.
• Converting inbound enquiries while proactively creating opportunities through targeted outreach.
• Understanding prospective customers' commercial drivers, funding position, market opportunity and product-scaling ambitions.
• Leading customer engagement and collaborating with internal experts to build compelling solutions and proposals.
• Owning customer relationships through the proposal, negotiation and decision-making process.
• Representing Tharsus with senior decision-makers, industry partners and at key events.
• Strengthening Tharsus' reputation as the partner of choice for businesses scaling complex physical products.
