Role Description

Dynasty Financial Partners is seeking a seasoned and dynamic senior salesperson to serve as Business Development Officer (BDO) in the Central region. This highly visible role will be directly responsible for driving new growth for the organization.

• Recruiting, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
• Forging strategic partnerships and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and market share targets.
• Frequent travel to support sales activities, including regular visits to company headquarters and other industry events.

Responsibilities

• Set Regional Business Development Strategy:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and assess market trends.
  • Work with Sales Operations to formulate and execute plans to expand the business and drive revenue growth.
• Meet Production Targets:
  • Annual production targets will be set by Sales Leadership at the start of each year and must be consistently met.
• Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Proactively identify and source new business opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge, market research, and networking.
  • Utilize a variety of channels to generate leads, including COI channels, recruiting, cold calling, industry events, and professional social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and engage potential clients.
• Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster long-term partnerships and collaborations that drive business growth and enhance brand reputation.
• Proposal Development and Negotiation:
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions to secure new business deals and partnerships.
• Be a Dynasty Ambassador:
  • Act as the voice of Dynasty in the local region by attending conferences, networking groups, and industry events.
  • Engage actively on social platforms and serve as a spokesperson for the Company on industry-related topics.
• Professional Conduct:
  • Act with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Maintain books and records, adhere to internal policies and procedures, and deliver high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master’s Degree Preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build rapport.
• Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and complete projects on time and on budget.

Requirements

• Members of the Business Development Team expect to travel most weeks.
• Since this position is to be located remotely, there will be an expectation of travel for client firms.
• Travel to Dynasty Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida, will be required.
