Role Description

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Data Center Service Development Manager who will provide strategic leadership for the growth and development of Daikin Applied’s aftermarket service business within the Data Center market, with primary responsibility for increasing maintenance agreement sales and attachment rates for Daikin Applied equipment. This role develops and executes the national Data Center service strategy and partners with District Service organizations to identify, develop, and secure new Data Center service business.

The position serves as the company's subject matter expert on the Data Center market, including the unique operational, reliability, uptime, and service requirements of mission-critical facilities. The National Data Center Service Development Manager establishes consistent and scalable approaches to Data Center service, including:

• Maintenance agreement programs
• Scopes of work
• Pricing strategies
• Proposal standards
• Sales processes

This role will help transition the organization from individually developed District approaches to a more consistent national strategy while maintaining local ownership of customer relationships and service execution.

Working closely with District Service organizations, Service leadership, National Accounts, Data Center teams, Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Management, and other functional leaders, this position leads cross-functional initiatives that:

• Increase recurring aftermarket revenue
• Improve customer retention
• Strengthen the company's competitive position
• Establish Daikin Applied as a preferred service partner for Data Center customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years relevant experience, including 5+ years of management, leadership, business development, or strategic sales experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years specifically involving Data Centers, mission-critical facilities, HVAC service, aftermarket service, or strategic account development
