Role Description

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Business Development Manager – Data Centers to help expand our presence across the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Data Center market. In this high-impact role, you will:

• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate trusted customer relationships.
• Position innovative energy solutions that support the evolving needs of hyperscale and colocation customers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
• Influence market direction and strengthen Hitachi Energy’s position as a trusted industry leader.
• Engage with customers, industry experts, and decision-makers at conferences, trade shows, and key industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within Commercial & Industrial markets.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of data center and C&I market trends, challenges, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Ability and willingness to travel 25–50% for customer meetings and industry events.
