Role Description

This is a fully remote role based in the Ohio Valley area, with travel required.

The Business Development Manager will drive rapid growth by achieving aggressive sales targets across the Ohio Valley region. This role focuses on:

• Identifying, securing, and growing new customers
• Understanding customer needs
• Presenting suitable products
• Supporting new product development
• Maintaining strong customer relationships

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a builder mindset who is eager to demonstrate their ability to build and grow a regional territory above market levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required
• 4-5+ years of related sales experience preferred
• Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
• Deep understanding of industry standards and regulations, including UL, IEEE, NEC, and IEC
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• In-depth knowledge of customer and market dynamics
• Exceptional ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers
• This fully remote role requires extensive travel within the assigned territory, and the individual must live in or around the Ohio Valley area
• A creative and curious mind that thrives on asking questions to uncover solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
• Possess a hunter mentality with a competitive drive to dominate the marketplace
• Results-driven with a relentless sense of urgency
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization

Requirements

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 USD + bonus

The salary range reflects the company’s base pay compensation for this position. Actual salary will depend on several factors, including worksite location, geographic market, skills, experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
