Role Description

Easy Ice is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on new business-to-business account development in our Outside Sales organization. This is a remote “work from home” position but requires a successful salesperson to be in-market daily, including working with local branch operations teams. Responsibilities include:

• Prospecting, cold calling, and setting appointments with prospects.
• Selling Easy Ice’s value proposition.
• Conducting quality surveys to set operations up for successful installations.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and providing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets by being out in your market daily.
• Be a Market Leader between sales, operations, and install coordinators.
• Be present in your local operations branch regularly and hold consistent meetings.
• Self-generate leads through networking, customer referrals, and cold-calling.
• Create or join networking groups that share leads.
• Effectively run a one-call-close sales process.
• Understand the technical components and requirements of ice machines.
• Stay organized within the Company’s CRM Salesforce system.
• Willingness to work within a positive team culture.
• Report daily sales results to your manager and your team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of outside sales experience as a top performer.
• Proven track record of success with a short sales cycle.
• Experience self-generating leads within a market.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
• Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending.
• Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
• Drive a vehicle for up to 50 percent of the hours worked.
