As a member of our Clinical Business Development team, you will play a key role in driving growth by:

• Developing and strengthening client relationships
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Securing clinical research projects

Through a consultative and strategic sales approach, you will engage decision-makers and key stakeholders at both existing and prospective clients to position QPS as a trusted partner for late-phase clinical trials and related ancillary services.

This home-based position is located in the United States and will focus primarily on the East Coast region, including the Northeast, supporting business development efforts across late-phase clinical research programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Deep CRO business development experience is required
• Proven track record of prospecting for and closing full-service late-phase clinical trial business
• Established East Coast book of business for late-phase clinical research services is strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of the drug development/clinical trial industry with key contacts and relationships

Requirements

• Prospect, generate and develop new leads/business opportunities for Clinical Conduct, Data Management, Medical Writing, Biostats, Pharmacovigilance, and other related late-phase services
• Network and relationship-build at key decision-maker level across key accounts
• Drive sales to closure working in conjunction with Operations
• Meet or exceed annual proposal and sales targets as determined by Management
• Frequent travel required of up to 50% (conferences, client sites, QPS facilities, etc.)
• Ensure continuing commercial momentum by maintaining clear, complete records across CRM, proposals, and contract workflow
