[Hiring] Business Development Associate @X/Celerant

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Associate (BDA) at X/Celerant. Ideally, the candidate will be based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario area but can be based anywhere in the US or Canada.

• The BDA's primary activity will be making contact and setting meetings for our Sales Team with C-suite executives in target industries.
• Please do not respond to this ad unless you have a proven ability to successfully set calls with C-suite targets of Fortune 500 companies for a professional services consulting firm.
• The BDA will also be responsible for market research and effective communication with the staff and clients.
• The compensation for this position is a blend of base salary and commission based on a defined incentive pay plan.

Qualifications

• Thrives on the challenge of cold-calling as a full-time endeavor
• Ability to set 3+ new meetings a week in a target market
• Must have direct recent experience in setting meetings with C-suite executives for a professional services consulting firm
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential clients
• Generating leads and prospecting for new clients
• Use of a customer relationship management (CRM) system to maintain accurate records of client interactions
• Must be Canadian citizen or PR card holder
• Strong Communication skills
• Experience in business development or sales
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of operations and supply chain management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
