[Hiring] Senior Principal AI Solutions Architect @PTC

Role Description

PTC is seeking an experienced, customer-facing Senior Principal AI Solutions Architect to lead the successful positioning, design, validation, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions across our America’s customer base. This role serves as the critical bridge between Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, and Professional Services.

• Partner directly with customers during the sales cycle to define business outcomes, validate AI use cases, assess technical feasibility, and architect scalable solutions.
• Help customers bring AI from concept to production by ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, operationally viable, and capable of delivering measurable business value.
• Remain engaged throughout implementation, guiding Professional Services teams to ensure successful execution and adoption.
• Act as PTC Professional Services' AI subject matter expert, developing services offerings, best practices, and enablement programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software consulting, solution architecture, professional services, or systems engineering.
• 5+ years leading complex enterprise transformations involving cloud, data, analytics, automation, or AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, multi-agent systems, prompt engineering, and vector databases (LangChain/LangGraph required).
• Demonstrated experience bringing AI solutions from concept through production deployment.
• Proven experience supporting both pre-sales pursuits and implementation delivery.
• Experience working with senior-level customer stakeholders.
• Strong background in large-scale enterprise deployments and digital transformation programs.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing AI, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one additional language (Java, Go, or TypeScript).
• Experience in large-scale data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka) and data architecture fundamentals.
• Strong data science capabilities to extract insights and understand client data deeply.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data architecture, API integration patterns, cloud platforms, security and governance frameworks, and infrastructure design.
• Ability to assess technical feasibility and operational readiness for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Experience producing and presenting architectural and technical solution documentation.
