[Hiring] Senior AI Software Engineer @EPAM Systems

Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on Senior AI Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will build and scale automated content generation pipelines and marketing material workflows. You will work closely with our architecture and AI teams, integrating generative and diffusion models while plugging directly into existing Python-based evaluation harnesses. We need a pragmatic builder who can dive into code, iterate rapidly in a Kanban environment, and ship production-ready generative AI microservices.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Python microservices using FastAPI for automated content and marketing material generation
• Integrate and optimize diffusion models and multimodal generative AI tools, including image and video generation pipelines
• Integrate generation pipelines with custom Python-based evaluation harnesses to ensure output quality before deployment
• Deploy containerized workloads on cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Participate in daily Kanban discussions, backlog grooming, and rapid-fire feature iteration alongside senior architecture leadership
• Deliver high-throughput generative AI content pipelines that reduce manual marketing asset creation time
• Ensure seamless integration of new model versions into the automated Python evaluation harness with zero regression in output quality
• Maintain reliable, containerized FastAPI microservices running smoothly on cloud infrastructure with robust error handling

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Python backend development
• Proven experience building production applications utilizing generative AI, large language models, and diffusion models
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous backend frameworks such as FastAPI, and cloud deployment on AWS or GCP
• Understanding of automated testing, evaluation harnesses, and MLOps principles in Python
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and AWS or GCP
• Expertise in Generative AI and diffusion models, including LLMs and image/video generation
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and Git

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Firefly or commercial creative generation APIs (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of Computer Vision libraries such as OpenCV and FFmpeg (Nice to have)
• Background in Media & Entertainment or video supply chain (Nice to have)
