[Hiring] Head of AI & Business Transformation @Rho Nutrition

Role Description

Rho Nutrition is looking for a highly entrepreneurial AI leader to help build the next generation of our company. You will play a central role in shaping and executing Rho’s AI strategy and building AI into how we operate across the business. You will develop our AI vision, roadmap, and operating model while partnering across functions to identify and implement high-impact opportunities. This is not simply a strategy role. We are looking for someone who can translate rapidly evolving AI capabilities into practical business applications and drive them from idea through implementation. The goal: make Rho one of the most AI-native consumer companies in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine Rho’s AI strategy, including long-term vision, capability roadmap, prioritization, resourcing, and success metrics.
• Build and run Rho’s AI operating model, including governance, technology stack, vendor strategy, stakeholder alignment, and company-wide adoption.
• Partner with leaders across Growth, Creative, E-commerce, CX, Finance, Operations, Retail, Product Development, and Technology to identify where AI can unlock growth, efficiency, or step-change capabilities.
• Drive AI initiatives end-to-end — identifying use cases, building or selecting solutions, leading pilots, managing partners, and ensuring successful rollout and adoption.
• Build AI-powered workflows, agents, automations, and internal tools that increase the speed and leverage of teams across Rho.
• Help transform Rho’s Growth and Creative engine through AI-powered analysis, content creation, experimentation, personalization, and performance optimization.
• Lead Rho’s AI visibility and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy, improving how Rho and its products are discovered and recommended across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI, and emerging platforms.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI across CX, e-commerce, retention, forecasting, analytics, finance, operations, supply chain, and product innovation.
• Develop training, playbooks, and systems that raise AI fluency across the organization and enable teams to confidently incorporate AI into their everyday work.
• Measure and report the business and financial impact of AI initiatives.
• Maintain a strong external pulse on frontier models, agents, creative platforms, advertising technology, emerging tools, and AI-native consumer companies — quickly identifying what matters for Rho and what does not.
• Partner directly with senior leadership on high-impact strategic initiatives and help answer some of the company’s most important business questions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience across consumer technology, CPG, DTC, e-commerce, growth, digital transformation, product, analytics, AI, or related fields.
• Meaningful experience inside or closely supporting a scaled consumer brand, with a strong preference for CPG, DTC, or e-commerce experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI solutions that produced measurable commercial or operational results.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI models, agents, automation platforms, APIs, creative tools, and the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of DTC and consumer economics, including acquisition, conversion, retention, LTV, and profitability.
• Ability to understand problems across very different business functions and translate emerging technology into practical solutions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to turn data into insights and action.
• Self-starter who can independently take an opportunity from idea through implementation.
• Strong cross-functional leader who can drive alignment and accountability without relying on organizational authority.
• Excellent communicator who is comfortable working with founders, senior leadership, technical teams, external partners, and individual contributors.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, learn extraordinarily quickly, and continuously adapt as AI capabilities evolve.
• Deep curiosity and a natural instinct to question existing processes and ask: “Why are we still doing this manually?”.

What Does Success Look Like in This Role

Within your first year, Rho should operate materially differently because you joined. AI should be embedded across the organization, with measurable improvements in growth, creative velocity, customer experience, productivity, decision-making, operational efficiency, and Rho’s visibility across AI-driven discovery. This role is ultimately about organizational leverage — using AI to help Rho move faster, make better decisions, and accomplish significantly more without simply adding more people.
