Role Description

• Apply and refine deep learning models for mining operations
• Split time between applied ML (60%) and foundational ML research (40%)
• Train and evaluate custom neural networks in PyTorch
• Preprocess and analyze spatial and temporal data
• Build pipelines and evaluation tools
• Track and monitor model performance over time
• Present results and explain concepts to geologists and business teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years industry ML experience
• Proficiency with PyTorch and custom neural network design
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven and independent problem solver

Requirements

• Mining or geospatial data experience (Nice to Have)
• Background in resource modeling or geological sciences (Nice to Have)
