[Hiring] Engineering Manager, AI @Lattice

Role Description

Lattice's Engineering team is dedicated to building cutting-edge solutions that empower people and organizations to thrive. The AI Intelligence Quality (IQ) team owns the challenge of ensuring that AI systems are trustworthy, measurable, and continuously improving.

The platform you lead won't power a single product—it will shape the quality of every AI experience we deliver, becoming a foundational capability for how AI is built at Lattice.

What You Will Do

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of AI and software engineers.
• Own the execution and delivery of the AI Platform roadmap.
• Partner closely with Product, Applied AI, Data Science, and engineering leaders.
• Lead the development of AI evaluation infrastructure, quality metrics, and developer tooling.
• Drive technical and organizational decisions to improve the scalability and reliability of the AI Platform.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to establish AI evaluations as a foundational capability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and growing high-performing software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in AI infrastructure and AI-powered products.
• Experience building enterprise SaaS AI products where quality and reliability are critical.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A strong product and platform mindset.
• A leadership style grounded in curiosity, humility, ownership, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Experience building AI evaluation frameworks, experimentation platforms, or ML infrastructure.
• Knowledge of statistical experimentation, A/B model testing, or model benchmarking.
• Familiarity with advanced AI optimization techniques.
• Experience building internal platforms and services adopted across multiple engineering teams.
