Role Description

As an AI Engineering Intern at i95dev, you'll work on integrating large language models (LLMs) into our full-stack eCommerce applications. You'll collaborate with our engineering team to develop, test, and deploy AI-powered features that enhance customer experiences and optimize business operations across digital commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement LLM-powered features for eCommerce applications, such as personalized product recommendations, conversational shopping assistants, and content generation tools.
• Develop and optimize prompts for various eCommerce use cases, ensuring context-aware and accurate AI responses.
• Design and implement APIs that connect front-end interfaces with back-end LLM services.
• Contribute to the development of both front-end components (using React) and back-end services (using Python).
• Assist in evaluating model performance and implementing improvements based on user feedback.
• Document your work, share learnings, and contribute to our team's knowledge base.
• Participate in regular code reviews and team discussions.

Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or coursework in AI/ML concepts, particularly natural language processing.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, etc.) and understanding of their capabilities.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and techniques.
• Experience with Python is required; knowledge of frameworks like Flask or FastAPI is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
