Role Description

Telehealth is a growing healthcare delivery mode that facilitates access to subspecialty care and patients' easier access to outpatient care, resulting in patient safety improvements, increased employee capacity/satisfaction, increased patient access/satisfaction, etc. This position will perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, installation and support of new and existing virtual health applications, devices and peripherals.

• Communicates with end users to determine needs, schedule work, develop and provide basic training on all hardware and some software.
• Provide Tier 1 on-call support in a 24 x 7 environment.
• Responds to, diagnoses and resolves hardware and application-related problems through discussion with users.
• Delivers remote and in-person technical support for Piedmont Healthcare when needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Required
• Associate’s Degree from a recognized college or university in an IT related field - Preferred
• 1 year of work experience in IS Field Services - Required
• None - Required
