Role Description

We are currently looking for a motivated Virtual Assistant with expertise as a video editor to join our client's team and take their operations to the next level.

• Editing engaging, on-brand video content
• Adapting to different visual styles and brand tones
• Receiving and following briefs provided by our internal team
• Delivering edits on time while maintaining quality and consistency
• Edit full-length podcast episodes optimized for YouTube retention and engagement
• Clean and enhance audio and video quality
• Structure episodes with strong pacing, storytelling, and intentional cuts
• Create SEO-optimized YouTube titles and descriptions
• Design high-quality thumbnails aligned with brand identity
• Upload and properly optimize videos inside YouTube Studio
• Generate short-form vertical clips for repurposing
• Label, organize, and deliver assets consistently
• Optimize content for YouTube search and local discoverability
• Maintain branding consistency across videos
• Assist in repurposing content into short-form when needed

Qualifications

• Strong video editing experience (long-form + short-form)
• Proficient in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails)
• Portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form video work
• Ability to edit for audience retention and watch time
• Excellent written English (for titles, descriptions, and show notes)
• Strong audio cleanup skills and thumbnail design capability
• Ability to work with different content types, styles, and tones
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Consistent access to a computer, editing software, and high-speed internet

Requirements

• Tools (Preferred Experience)
• Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent professional editor)
• After Effects (plus)
• Canva or Photoshop (for thumbnails)
• YouTube Studio
• Google Drive workflows
